The application of aluminum hydroxide in carpet industry is mainly to use the flame retardant filling property of aluminum hydroxide.

There are two kinds of latex in carpet making industry, one is adhesive, the other is foam. Carboxylated latex coating is a kind of adhesive. It is used to bond the carpet fiber which is wrapped on the net mounted upper of the fixing upper. The latex foam is applied to the carpet surface to achieve the required thickness.
The curing is completed in an oven at 120 ℃ - 150 ℃. In general, the mix ratio of adhesive is 100 parts latex with 75-250 parts aluminum hydroxide. The proportion of ingredients in the foam is 20-150 aluminum hydroxide for every 100 latex.
